The Sale of Goods Act 1979
All goods sold meet UK and EU quality guidelines. If you discover that products do not meet these requirements you can reject them and ask for your money back providing you notify us within 2 days of receipt of goods. Alternatively, you can request a repair or replacement.
Compensation shall be limited to the cost of the goods only.
Dispatch & Availability
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability and are usually dispatched within 48 working hours.
In periods of high demand, certain items may not be available for immediate dispatch. If this is the case, we will aim to contact you within 2 working days and advise you of an expected delivery date or refund your money as soon as possible (up to a maximum of 30 days), if we are unable to fulfill your order.
Delivery is to the UK only.
We will use the most economical and efficient means of delivery appropriate to the item. Usually using the Royal Mail.
Rightstride orthotics are usually dispatched direct from the manufacturer and are sent by recorded or special delivery, so you will need to provide an address where somebody will be able to sign for the goods.
In the case of faulty goods, please notify us within 2 working days of receipt of order.
Return of goods, whether faulty or otherwise must be agreed with us in advance. Please contact us at; email@example.com for details of how to return items to us or a manufacturer.
Rightstride orthotics are usually dispatched direct from the manufacturer and cannot be returned directly to us. Please contact us to arrange return of goods.
Orthotics must be unused and in original packaging. For hygiene reasons, orthotics which have been worn cannot be returned.
All items returned to us, will be at your own cost and must be insured in transit for their full value.
Vouchers for our Sportsphysio clinic in Cumbria which are purchased online, have an expiry of 6 months from the purchase date. Unused vouchers cannot be returned for refund. These vouchers apply to treatment and cost of goods at the clinic only, they cannot be redeemed for online purchases.
Vouchers – Have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000
Distance Selling Regulations give protection to consumers who shop by phone, mail order, via the Internet or digital TV: The protection includes:
• A cooling off period
There is a cooling off period of seven working days from placing the order, in which you, the consumer can withdraw from the contract. However, acceptance of your order and the formation of a contract between us will take place when your goods are dispatched. Should you wish to withdraw from the contract, you must contact us first to arrange the return the goods unopened with postage at your own cost and ensuring that the goods are insured in transit to their appropriate value.
• Protection from credit card fraud.
We take your security very seriously and at no point are any card details held on our computer.
Your payments are processed securely via PayPal and in cases where goods are shipped directly from the manufacturer, we will forward your shipping details to them.
The Data Protection Act 1998
All our records are held in accordance with The Data Protection Act 1998 and any information provided by you is treated with strictest confidentiality.
We take your security seriously and never share our information with third parties other than those needed to process your order.
We do like to keep our clients informed of new products and services but are aware that spam e.mails are unacceptable. For this reason, we offer you the chance to “opt in” to our e.mail service.
Appropriate security measures are taken against unauthorised access to, or alteration, disclosure or destruction of personal data and against accidental loss
or destruction of personal data.
